This course is a subject that cultivates the ability to practice child welfare based on child rights by understanding the concepts and principles of child welfare and rights, as well as the targets and types of services. It also involves examining child policies and laws. Therefore, this course aims to recognize children as bearers of rights and to explore policies and services for child rights and welfare that can provide a foundation for a happy life for children in a society. To achieve this, the course explores the concepts and principles of child rights and welfare, the history of child rights and welfare, policies and administration related to child rights and welfare, child welfare services, and overall content related to the challenges and rights of child welfare.
KID3083 Media Literacy Practicum 3 6 Major Bachelor - No
The lecture is a practicum for senior students who took children's media education course beforehand. In this course, students will apply the media literacy program they developed in the previous semester to the elementary classrooms for 12 weeks. Through this lecture, students will learn the methodology of media literacy education in the elementary school field so that they can develop their capacity as a media education specialist.

This course examines the value of literature in human life, explores the purpose and value of literature for young children, and examines how to use picture books for the development and education of children in early childhood education and childcare institutions. Picture books as the delivery medium of early childhood literature are often used as teaching material in homes and educational institutions. In particular, as the scope of use of picture books as one source multi-use is expanding, we study its media characteristics.
