This course focuses on how children make sense of the social world. Topics covered will include attachments sense of self, self-control, theory of mind, and moral development.

Students will learn physical, cognitive, personality, and social development in school-aged children and adolescents. Specific in-depth topics include identity, autonomy, sexuality, and moral development.

The purpose of this course is to increase the student's knowledge and understanding of the development of language and cognition in early childhood. Covered topics include domain-general vs. domain-specific abilities, nature and nurture aspects of development, and sensitive and critical periods of language development.

This course aims to promote students' understanding of basic concepts and theories of human motivation, focusing on the motivational underpinnings of people's choices and continuation of behavior. To this end, students will learn how motivation affects people's thoughts, emotions, and behaviors based on representative theories and empirical research on human motivation. Students will also have opportunities to apply motivation theories to better understand themselves and social phenomena.

This course is an introduction to tradition and recent achievement of an interdisplianry study of mind, computer and brain in an medium level. The course covers artificial intelligence, linguistics, anthropology, and philosophical approaches on human cognition in addition to cognitive psychology/neuroscience in a median level. Students mainly learn materials from lectures, in-class activities and homework. This course is designed for 3rd and 4th year undergraduate students who completed at least one of [Cognitive Psychology] or [Experimental Psychology] before signing up, and 1st and 2nd semester graduate students.

This course reviews basic assumptions about human beings within the organizational context, and then analyzes the effect of job satisfaction, organizational commitment, organizational citizenship behavior, organizational justice, organizational creativity on productivity and managent. Especially, a number of theories will be reviewed to explain effects of work motivation and job stress on organizational effectiveness.
PSY3005 Psychological Testing and Measurement 3 6 Major Bachelor 3-4 Korean Yes
This course focuses on the measurement and analysis of individual differences on psychological construct such as cognitive ability or personality characteristics. Procedures for assessing, diagnosing, and selecting people based on individual differences as well as fundamentals of intelligence tests and personality tests will be discussed. Reliability, validity, and factor analysis will also be included. This course is designed for 3rd- or 4th-year undergraduate students. [Statistical Analysis in Psychology] is a prerequisite of this course.
PSY3006 Group Dynamics 3 6 Major Bachelor 3-4 Korean Yes
Group psychology studies how people think, feel, and behave in groups. This course aims to promote students' understanding of key concepts and theories of small group processes. This course emphasizes the dynamic nature of group processes by reviewing major research topics such as group structure and development, task performance and decision making in groups, conflict within and between groups, and social influence. Students will perform various in-class group activities, from which they will develop deeper understanding of group process and gain insights into how to improve group outcomes.

This course focuses on the nature of human sensation and perception at an intermediate level. By understanding the neural mechanisms of perception, students will learn the neurophysiological and psychophysical processes that enables the representation of the external world (e.g., vision, audition, touch, taste, motor skills) in the brain. Students mainly learn materials from lectures, in-class activities and homework. This course is designed for 2nd and 3rd year undergraduate students who have completed at least two of the following courses: [Introduction to Psychology], [Cognitive Psychology], [Experimental Psychology] or [Statistical Analysis in Psychology] before signing up.
PSY3014 Training and Development in Industry 3 6 Major Bachelor 3-4 Korean Yes
This class explores employee training and development, one of the core areas of industrial psychology in a basic level covering the functions of training, development, and career management in organizations. The subject matters discussed in this course are applicable to all types of organizations and jobs. This course will be delivered through lecture, discussions, and group project and presentations. Taking [Industrial Psychology] is the prerequisite.

This course covers various theories and methods about organizational change and innovation to improve organizational efficiency and competency required to cope with environmental changes. Students can learn how industrial and organizational psychology is applied because organizational development is a systematic planned change process which apllies behavioral science knowledge.

This course provides an overview of clinical psychology. The field of clinical psychology integrates theory and practice to understand, predict, and treat psychological distress and dysfunction. The primary objective of this course is to introduce the current scope of clinical psychology and the activities of clinical psychologists. Specifically, the course will cover general principles of psychological assessment and psychotherapy as well as important theoretical, empirical, and ethical issues. The course will consist of lectures and student's individual projects. The course is designed for advanced students in psychology who have taken at least the course [Introduction to Psychology].
