Sungkyungwan University (SKKU) International Affairs office (Vice President Prof. Lee Suk-kyu ) held a orienatation for newly entering international students from both campuses (Humanites & Social Science and Natural Scineces) on Feb. 23.(MON)
At the orientation around 180 international students from 19 countries such as China, New Zealand, Malaysia, US, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Suadi Arabia, Sigapore, Equador, etc. attended the event exhibiting how internationally recognized SKKU has become.
The orientation programs for the morning consisted of life in SKKU, living in Korea, how to use the library, and dormitory life; while, in the afternoon, introducing the Chinese student union, academic information, introducing Korea studies interdisciplinary major, and course registerations were given. Also presently attending international students came to the event and gave wholehearted advice on how to live and study abroad.
About 450 foreign students have been admitted this spring semester, and will begin their studies and research in the many majors in SKKU starting March 2.
