Graduate School of National Strategy Signs Government-Academic Cooperation with Seoul Metropolitan Government

The Graduate School of National Strategy signed a government-academic cooperation agreement with the Seoul Metropolitan Government on the 17th (Tue).The signing of the agreement was attended by the Graduate School of National Strategy (Director Cho Won-bin, Professor of Political Science and Diplomacy), and Kim Hyung-hyung, Director of Human Resources Development at the Administration Bureau.
"Seoul Metropolitan Government was seeking educational cooperation with universities in the human resources development department, and Sungkyunkwan University's Graduate School of National Strategy made a proposal, leading to the signing of the agreement as interest in training its employees has increased since the launch of the 8th popular election," said Kim Hyung-hyung.
This agreement targets public officials in Seoul Metropolitan Government, and provides a small amount of scholarship benefits from the first semester of 2024 to selected trainees.In addition, the two institutions will actively cooperate in linking and sharing educational programs.
Cho Won-bin, president of the Graduate School of National Strategy, said, "The Graduate School of National Strategy is training experts with strategic thinking skills and realistic problem-solving skills through education in the field of strategic theory, crisis management, and information based on administration, policy, and economics. Classes such as <National Policy Management System>, <Organization Management>, <Party Overelection>, and <International Relations Theory> opened by the graduate school will help improve the professionalism of public officials."
