This course introduces students to the basic principles of social work research, including ethics, problem formulation, hypotheses, research designs and methodologies, data collection and analysis. Emphasis is placed on evaluation of programs and outcomes of clinical practice. Students are required to present a viable proposal which evaluates program effectiveness or clinical outcomes.
