Human resource development is a dynamic process that changes individuals and organizations, and develops their expertise. This is an extremely important part of the organization. The purpose of this lecture is to understand the basis of human resources development and to facilitate deep thought process and reflective practices. By examining the fundamental contents needed to develop human resources development, we can further understand and develop this area by presenting a critical, theoretical, philosophical foundation of human resource development. We will explore the learning and performance paradigm of human resources development and the associated models, and clarify the logical link between them. Also, this course introduces practical training and development, organizational development cases, core ideas, and tools. Finally, we will explore the role of human resources development through strategic issues, initiatives, policies and initiatives, and discuss the challenges regarding the future of human resources development.
